Job Description - Mechanical Engineer (1216587) Job Description  Mechanical Engineer( Job Number:  1216587) Description   Responsible for analyzing existing product designs, developing product functional analysis and identifying areas for design cost and value improvement. Develops alternate concepts and detailed designs, as directed; develops prototype generation and testing; conducts detailed studies to support design decisions; and maintains records of design process in accordance with sound design practice and ISO requirements, by performing the following duties directly, or through subordinates when so directed. Interfaces with engineering project teams to coordinate design development, from concept to final design. Develops complex 3D and 2D prints utilizing Pro-E Wildfire 4.0 above software. Assists in generation of assembly Bill of Materials. Able to locate details of standard components, such as screws, bolts, clips, etc. to incorporate into product designs. Executes engineering drawing changes. Qualifications     EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in a technical discipline, with 1-4 years of engineering experience. Must have Expert level knowledge of  Pro-E Wildfire 4.0 and Microsoft Office applications. Prior experience working with a US based company a plus. Six Sigma exposure is also a plus.   LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be fluent in English (verbal and written). Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to prepare presentations, and reports, and articles for publication, in the appropriate formats; ability to present same to management and/or other groups.   REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
