Job Description :

	POSITION SUMMARY (A brief description summarizing the overall purpose and scope of the position)
	Works as a Software Implementation team member on for-fee product implementations projects.  Expertise and work efforts are primarily focused on configuring a proprietary EDI data quality and compliance software as a service product.
	MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidate should be able to operate with minimal supervision on projects of varying size that potentially could include multiple products on multiple platforms. Deliver superior technical services for Professional Services implementations in accordance with GXS and Customers’ expectations and existing agreements. Candidate should have a technical skill set. This role is responsible for working with the GXS business analyst to review business requirements and translate these into a configuration for the implementation.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: [Identify specific critical knowledge, skills, education and experience required)
Knowledge: ·         Analytical skills and the ability to identify the root cause of issues ·         Self motivated and ability to work independently ·         Self learn tools and applications as per need to resolve issues ·         Participate in the review of detailed technical designs. ·         Understand and apply software development life cycle methodologies ·         Experience with XPATH ·         Experience with XML and XSLT ·         EDI experience a plus ·         JAVA programming experience a plus Education and Experience: Bachelor Degree in computer field or equivalent experience
