List of positions currently available in CPS Project:

Walk-in Interviews for Project Technician, Project Assistant, and Project Asssociate Positions on 22nd October, 2012

Position is for a contract period of 1 year with a monthly salary of Rs.10,000/- (Technician), 14000/- (Assistant) and Rs. 18,000/- (Associate) subject to performance

Eligibility: Minimum of 65% or 7/10 CGPA in Diploma, B.Sc Electronics (Technician), B. Tech. (Assistant),   M.Tech. /M.Sc., M.Phil. (Associates) in Electronics & communication/ Communication & Signal processing/Embedded Systems/Microelectronics

Interview will be preceded by a screening test from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM with subjective questions in the following subjects:

• Digital Communication
• Wireless Communication
• Signal Processing
• Computer Networks
• Digital Systems

Selected candidates will work on various aspects in research and development of Green Communication Networks,Wireless Sensor Networks, Smart Cellular Networks, Biomedical, Cognitive Radio networks and Embedded Systems.

Preferable:

• Strong Knowledge of Microcontrollers, FPGAs.
• Programming languages: Java and C++, Verilog, VHDL,
• Mobile OS and platforms: Android app development.
• Knowledge on PCB, layout design is preferable for Technician post

Selected candidates may be permitted to register for PhD degree as per existing institue rules, in which case the contract period is extended till the end of PhD term.

Please note that no call letter will be sent to the interested candidates. All candidates satisfying the eligibility criterion can write the screening test, which is conducted in Room 121 in our IITH campus.
