Job Description :

 The primary responsibility will be the certification testing of hardware and software development tools.  This includes design and development of test code to validate Microchip C compilers, providing technical assistance to internal and external customers on C compilers used with embedded applications.  Other activities involve analysis of compiler issues and application code, creating tutorials, example code, and other such materials to help improve upon the development experience of embedded C/C++ applications.  The candidate will work closely with the development teams to gather information on new features and functions in order to provide customers with up to date and accurate information.  

Job Requirements :

 The candidate must have sound knowledgeable in 'C' and assembly languages.  They must possess basic understanding of the MCU architecture and the knowledge of how different peripherals function.  They should have a good understanding of electronics and possess good hardware troubleshooting skills.  They must have excellent applications level troubleshooting skills to isolate and locate issues as well as communicate any improvements that can be made to the tools.  The candidate must have excellent verbal and communication skills in order to convey technical issues to the development team.  Knowledge of Perl or Python scripting languages is a plus.  Familiarity with using different Integrated Development Environments is a plus.  

B.E. in Electronics, Computer Science, or Instrumentation Technology is required.
