Gurgaon, Haryana, India
A great place to be
Do you want to work for a company that appreciates your individuality and what makes you great? A company that will allow you to take your career in many different directions? Or would you be interested in the relaxed dress code, free snacks and working for an employer that is concerned with your work/life balance?
At ThoughtWorks we embrace diversity and doing things differently. What brings us all together is the fact that we're passionate about what we do, enjoy giving back to the community, and get a kick out of being the best that we can be.

A home for the smart, collaborative, and socially progressive
Roy Singham, the Chairman, founded ThoughtWorks in 1993 to attract and employ the best knowledge workers - "ThoughtWorkers" - who would share some basic core values: attitude, aptitude, integrity. Today, we're a global company with over 1800 people spread across 24 offices in 10 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, India, Singapore, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States. ThoughtWorks has been here in India since 2001 with offices in Chennai, Bangalore, Pune and Gurgaon.
ThoughtWorks was started with the vision of creating a home for the smart, the collaborative, and the socially progressive. We relish the chance to engage our strengths to accomplish our goals, whether that be coming up with creative and innovative solutions to our clients problems or encouraging organizational improvements. We believe in working with the latest technologies and we're experts in Agile, a methodology that's revolutionizing software development.

But what will I do?
Developers
Whilst you might feel you know what a software developer does, the role at ThoughtWorks is quite different to other organizations. Thanks to the use of Agile methodologies and the fact that we work as consultants, your role will involve a lot of interaction with clients as well as team members, consisting of Business Analysts, Quality Analysts and Project Managers. You'll be heavily involved in understanding our client's requirements, and be responsible for coming up with creative and innovative solutions to complex problems. A lot of our work involves holding workshops to elicit requirements so you won't always be stuck behind a desk. Learn the latest technologies through a detailed curriculum which includes challenging courses in Agile methodologies, object-oriented analysis & design and programming. You’ll be beginning an exciting career in IT consulting, working on complex, interesting software development projects with other extraordinarily talented consultants.
Quality Analysts
As a QA you'll be responsible for ensuring Quality Assurance in the software we deliver to our clients. You'll get to work alongside truly talented teams and help them enhance their performance by bringing quality assurance to the forefront of clients' minds. As well as ensuring the bug-free delivery of bespoke built software, you will also be working with clients to advise them on improving their test processes and teaching them about the very latest from the QA world.

The Next Level…
We are currently seeking graduate developers and quality assurance analysts in Gurgaon with a Computer Science degree or technical equivalent. You need to have a minimum of 6 months to a Maximum of 1 year commercial experience of working with an Object Orientated Language. Both positions require a creative approach to problem solving, and the ability and desire to work in a dynamic and interactive team-working environment.
