Venue Location Details:

• Canara Engineering College is situated at Benjanapadavu, approximately 22 kms, from Mangalore and 4.5 kms, from the NH near Farangipete
• The campus is within quick and easy reach to the ,Mangalore city which is well connected by road, rail and air
• The Konkan Railway has further made accessibility to major places like Mumbai, Delhi, Gujarat, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram and Cochin through en route and direct trains

 

Designation:  Junior Software Engineer (Trainee) for freshers. For experienced candidates,  designation will be dependent on their experience.

Stream/Specialization: - Windows and Linux Server Administration & Development.

Eligibility Criteria:

• 2012 Batch BTech / BE Candidates
• 2011 or earlier batches Candidates with 6 months plus experience in Server Administration / Webhosting
• 2011 or earlier batches Candidates with 6 months plus experience in Linux
• BTech / BE - CS, IT, Electronics branches except (EEE)
• EXCELLENT written communication skills (English - compulsory)
• Ready to be based in Cochin, Kerala.
• Willingness to work in shifts (rotational shift)
• Knowledge in Linux/Unix/Windows/Networking Preferable but not compulsory.
• Outside Kerala College students are also eligible
• Freshers : Aggregate 65% for 10th, Plus Two & Btech (64.99% not applicable)
• Experienced : Aggregate 60% throughout 10th, Plus Two and Btech (59.99% not applicable)

• No current arrears

Salary:

• Freshers:       CTC - 2.05L per annum (around 13K per month)
• Experienced: CTC - Starting from 2.56 L per annum.
• Added benefits: Accommodation, food, transportation to and from the accommodation, medical insurance.

Selection Process:

• Freshers : Written test  - (Aptitude / Linux/ Windows/ C /  General Technical Awareness,Communication / written essay) followed by GD / Technical and HR interviews for the selected candidates.
• Experienced candidates: Written essay test for 30 minutes followed by GD / Technical and HR interview rounds for the selected candidates.

Service Conditions:

• Probation Period and Service agreement for 6 months.
• Shift working is compulsory and 6 day work week.
• Submission of certificate originals at the time of joining.
